Emily Procter

 American actress Emily Mallory Procter, born October 8, 1968 is also an activist. She played Ainsley Hayes as a character on The West Wing's political dramas (2000-2002 (2006), and 2006). Calleigh Duquesne in the lead character in a CBS police procedural drama titled CSI: Miami (2002–2012).



 



 Childhood and early life



 Procter was born on the 8th of October 1968. She was adopted at the age of a baby by William Procter, a general physician, and Barbara Jones, a volunteer worker, and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina. When her parents divorced, she was only three years old. Whit is her older brother and is also an adopted child.



 



 Ravenscroft School was where Procter went to school in Raleigh. Procter attended East Carolina University and was a member Alpha Delta Pi. She worked as a television anchor for WNCT-TV Greenville, North Carolina. After graduating, she earned degrees in journalism, and dance.
